SC.OUT.ED will provide activities that recognise children’s fundamental interests and needs and are able to offer nursery and reception classes, the ‘foundation years’, sessions that will underpin achievements higher up the school and help young learners fulfil their potential. Children are offered the chance to flourish and the chance to go and learn for themselves and take control of their own learning.
Activities are designed to promote learning through experimentation, problem solving and to offer teachers the chance to observe the children in the community of their peers. The sessions can be developed alongside your class topics.
- Forest Schools to develop speaking and listening skills and physical development
- Understanding the World – experimenting with scientific equipment
- Creative outdoor activities such as art and story telling
