Animals, including Humans

Pupils will develop an understanding of nature through different types of enquiry, observing closely and using simple equipment. The programme allows children to develop a secure understanding and concepts.

The session uses your local environment to explore and answer questions about animals in their habitat. Children learn how to take care of animals taken from their local environment and the need to return them safely after study - using their observations to compare animals at first hand.

Pupils will also be introduced to the basic needs of animals for survival.
